About
It’s a gift, can you post directly to my recipient?
Yes of course, please just let me know the address.
How will my project be delivered?
I prefer to hand deliver commissions where possible due to the delicate nature of the piece.
I can arrange delivery with Parcelforce tracked courier, very carefully packaged. We have never had an issue with breakage. This is not a guaranteed next day service, but orders usually arrive quickly. Please allow 10-14 days to be on the safe side.
Is my deposit refundable?
Unfortunately, the 50% deposit is non-refundable. I have been let down in the past so want to ensure that you are serious about a commission.
How do I pay?
I accept payment by direct bank transfer or PayPal for international commissions. The invoice you receive from me includes details for making a bank transfer. Please note that PayPal does require an additional, small processing fee.
Can I commission a painting instead?
Yes absolutely, please get in touch with your ideas.
Do you work in the UK only?
No, I take international commissions, mainly in North America and Europe. For international orders please contact me for a full quote including postage.
How long will a commission take?
I currently have a wait time of 3 months. Any commission varies depending on the complexity of the work required. If your commission is for a gift and you need it quickly please let me know when commissioning.
Should you need any work professionally hand mounted and then framed this could take an addition month.
What is the process?
After we both agree the commission I require a 50% deposit up front payment. I can send progress images by email, then when complete I’ll email you a digital file for approval first. When you have confirmed you are happy with the final proof, the balance is required.
What am I buying?
You are buying a commissioned hand embroidered piece by myself, a one off. Hand embroidery is
I'd like a greeting card, mug or coaster?
A commissioned pet portrait is required first and foremost. It's the time it takes to create the portrait, which can then be easily applied to personal greetings cards, mugs and coasters to build your pet collection.
Can I make changes to my commission?
I can provide a colour palette of threads before starting which can be tweaked, but once starting work it's harder to alter so I prefer not to.
Printing and framing?
Should you require an additional print of the hand embroidered commission this can be arranged. I would take a high-resolutional photograph and get this digitally printed as a fine art giclée print (using archival inks which have a no fading lifetime guarantee).
In addition, I work with two specialist fine art framers in the South East UK.
