Silk Shading

On silk with DMC and Anchor stranded cotton.

Inspiration

Every year we grow shallots at our allotment. I enjoy stinging them up and they taste great too. I thought this would be a great subject for my silk shading module because of the range of tonal colours.

​

It was really enjoyable to work, I loved getting into the flow of the piece.
