Hand embroidery

Award winning hand embroiderer, artist and designer, reimagining traditional techniques in a colourful contemporary way. Training at The Royal School of Needlework.
I create contemporary hand embroidery that explores colour, emotion, and the often-overlooked stories of women's lives and work. Drawing on my background in graphic design, I combine traditional embroidery techniques with a strong visual approach to create pieces that are both expressive and thoughtfully crafted.

My work is inspired by colour, craftsmanship the environment around me and storytelling, with a particular interest in celebrating women's skills and experiences through stitch. This is reflected in pieces such as Cowgirl appliqué, which explores themes of identity, resilience and overlooked labour.
